Careers in dairy farming with grasslands

Ever wanted to be part of an ambitious and energetic team, working within a dynamic and growing agricultural business? If the answer is yes, then a career with Grasslands might be for you.

Grasslands are a dairy farm management company offering their services to landowners who no longer wish to actively manage their farms on a day to day basis.

Grasslands employ and manage the labour on each farm, and with strategic plans to add at least one new unit a year to their portfolio, there are plenty of opportunities for new and existing employees.

All units across the business are managed on an extensive grazing system, with each farm milking over 200 cows in a block calving pattern. All replacements are home bred and reared to maintain suitable, good quality herds.

Grasslands have a great reputation for rewarding outstanding members of staff - as experienced by Operations Director, Geoff Booth:

“I came to work for Grasslands as a Unit Manager in 2000, but it soon became clear to me that this company was a little different, with lots of opportunity. I worked hard to prove my abilities and was rewarded with shares in the company and a promotion to Operations Director in 2007.”
